 New Little Blessing Gift Certificates

A friend of our Grandma’s recommended we add gift certificates to New Little Blessing. Then she bought 3 gift certificates from us to give to church friends at their baby showers. We realized what a great idea it was. Why didn’t we think of that earlier? So here they are!

Purchase a gift certificate for a friend or family. They are great for baby showers, birthdays, Christmas, “I love you”, and much more! Send a gift certificate online or print a gift certificate and mail it as a present! Let your friend, family member, or secret pal choose their own unique products!

Your Gift Certificate will be emailed to the recipient of your choosing. If you'd like a special message to be sent with the gift certificate, please note that in the comments section of the shopping cart.

We are using PayPal Gift Certificates. If you have any questions please read the information below before contacting us. This list of Q and A gives information for those purchasing and if you are here to redeem your gift certificate. If you still have a question contact jennifer@newlittleblessing.com

A Gift Certificate may be purchased or redeemed by residents of the United States only. We only ship orders to the USA at this time.

I received a Merchant Gift Certificate. How do I spend it?

Merchant Gift Certificates are redeemable for merchandise or services offered by the merchant. The shopping URL of the merchant is indicated on the gift certificate. Once you locate an item or service to purchase, enter or select the Redemption Code. Merchant Gift Certificates cannot be redeemed towards the purchase of the merchant's eBay listings.

Additional costs, such as shipping, insurance, and taxes may be added to the total price so remember to consider this. Any remaining costs beyond the value of the gift certificate must be paid using a funding source such as a PayPal account balance or credit card.

What is the expiration date for gift certificates?

Gift certificates do not have an expiration date and must be honored until the entire face value is spent.

Are gift certificates redeemable for cash?

Gift certificates that include an email address are non-transferable and have no cash value. Unused balances on gift certificates are tracked by the Redemption Code for future redemptions.

What are the minimum and maximum amounts for purchasing gift certificates?

Merchant Gift Certificates have a minimum purchase amount of $5.00 USD with a maximum purchase amount up to $1,000.00 USD.

Is tax charged on a gift certificate?

Tax, shipping, and insurance are not charged on the purchase of a gift certificate. However, when an item is purchased, tax, shipping, and insurance may apply. Whatever the difference is between the total cost of an item and the value of the gift certificate will either remain as an unused balance or must be funded with another payment source, such as a PayPal balance or credit card.

If a gift certificate is purchased with a credit card how is the transaction shown in my statement?

Gift certificate purchases appear on credit card statements as PAYPAL and "name of merchant."

Can I give a Gift Certificate to anyone?

Yes, as long as your recipient is eligible to have a PayPal account. Users must be 18 years of age or older to use PayPal.

What happens if I lose my gift certificate or it is stolen?

If a gift certificate is lost or stolen, you may still redeem it by logging in or signing up at https://www.paypal.com/ with the email address the gift certificate was sent to. Once logged in, you can locate the gift certificate in the Redemption Gift Certificates and Points section of the Profile page.

Note: If a printed gift certificate is lost or stolen, you should contact the sender and ask them cancel the gift certificate and resend it. If it has been more than 60 days after the purchase, contact PayPal's customer support by clicking Contact Us.

What if I never received, accidentally deleted, or lost a gift certificate someone sent to me?

If someone sent you a gift certificate by email, but you never received, accidentally deleted, or lost it, first recheck your emails for the gift certificate receipt. Otherwise, try one of the following solutions.

Locate the redemption code in your Profile.

If you know the gift certificate was sent to an email address you linked to an existing PayPal account:

 Here's How:

1.       Click the My Account tab.

2.       Click the Profile subtab.

3.       Click the Redeem Gift Certificates and Points link under the Financial Information column.

4.       On the Available Redemption Codes page, check if the gift certificate is listed.

Link the email address to an existing PayPal account.

If you know the gift certificate was sent to an email address you did not link to your account, you can try to add the email address to your account. If successful, the gift certificate should appear in your History or in your Profile.

Note: If you do not have a PayPal account, and you accidentally deleted or lost the emailed or printed gift certificate, sign up for a PayPal account using the same email address the gift certificate was sent to.

Verify the gift certificate was sent to the correct email address.

Contact the person who purchased the gift certificate and verify the email address they sent it to. Whenever possible, supply the purchaser with a valid email address that you have access to and that is either linked to your PayPal account or that you plan to add to a PayPal account.

If the gift certificate was sent to an email address you do not have access to, the purchaser can request a refund within 60 days from the merchant who sold the gift certificate, as long as the gift certificate has not been claimed.

Contact Customer Support.

If after following the steps above you still cannot locate the gift certificate, contact PayPal Customer Support by clicking the Contact Us link on any PayPal webpage.

Why do I have to use PayPal to use a gift certificate?

To provide the best service and security for all our customers, PayPal requires all gift certificate recipients without a PayPal account to register in order to claim their gift certificate. Signing up with PayPal is fast, free and secure.

Can I cancel a gift certificate that I purchased?

Yes, you can cancel the gift certificate only if the email address you sent it to is not associated with a PayPal account and has not been claimed.

Note: It is recommended you act quickly if you believe you sent a gift certificate to a valid email address but the wrong recipient. The unintended recipient may redeem the gift certificate if they have or sign up for a PayPal account. You can resend a gift certificate once you know your recipient's valid email address.

If you sent the gift certificate to an email address linked to a PayPal account, only the recipient can cancel a gift certificate within 60 days. If you would like a refund for your purchase, you must request a refund from the merchant or seller from whom you purchased the gift certificate. Otherwise, contact PayPal Customer Service for help.

Can I redeem a printed gift certificate if my email address is incorrect or misspelled?

No, for security reasons, gift certificates with a specified email address are not transferable and can only be redeemed by the owner of the email address specified by the purchaser. As with a lost or stolen gift certificate, simply ask the purchaser to cancel the gift certificate within 60 days and have it reissued. The only difference in this case is that the purchaser must make sure to verify your email address before reissuing.

If there is no way to reach the purchaser of the gift certificate, contact PayPal customer support by clicking the Contact Us link on the PayPal website.
