As newlyweds, we had always dreamed of homeschooling and owning a home business...

When we got married we had high aspirations of someday owning our own home business, having lots of children, and homeschooling them all. Within just a few short years, our home business dream become a reality, and a few months later, we had our first baby. Although we loved our role as business owners and parents, we were struggling to keep up with everything and we couldn't even imagine adding homeschooling on top of it!

So, we began looking for other homeschooling, business-owning veterans who could give us some direction, help, and wisdom in how they manage to survive. After some investigation, we found many such families who were willing to come alongside us and share from their lives and experiences. Hearing their personal stories provided just the encouragement and inspiration we needed as we started down this path.

Since then, we've met many other homeschooling families who would love to own their home business but they don't have a clue how it could be possible and they have no idea where to start. We have wanted to help these families as we know exactly how they feel, yet we are still young and have a lot to learn ourselves. We finally decided that putting together a book with helpful advice and encouragement from our friends and mentors would be the best thing we could do.

This book holds the collective wisdom of hundreds of years of experience. Many of the families interviewed have owned businesses for 10-20 years or more. A few are just beginners. Some have 11 children, some have 2 children.

This book does not contain hype or unrealistic visions of a home business. These are real families, just like yours, who share their real-life experiences, struggles, and difficulties, in addition to the blessings and benefits of having a home business. They willingly open themselves up to share their personal stories.

A wealth of practical advice is woven into the inspirational stories.
